Welcome to DCN’s weekly roundup of coffee events.

This week’s calendar includes 16 new listings from the Specialty Coffee Association, which is virtually hosting #ExpoWeekend beginning on Thursday, in lieu of the annual SCA Expo event that was originally scheduled to take place in Portland, Oregon.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday will each see live online lectures that were originally scheduled to take place at the event, and the Barista Guild is throwing an online after-party on Sunday, May 3.

Due to an overwhelming number of requests and our desire to keep the calendar inclusive but not promotional, recurring home brewing tutorials or other daily digital hangs sponsored by individual coffee companies have been removed from the calendar.

Hosting an online event that’s free or nearly free to attend? Let us know here.
